Present MARK, JULIAN, TONY, GEOFF, HOWARD, NIC WITH INVITED REPS FROM WVCC RICHARD FOLEY AND ANDY SHUCK
The meeting convened without the guests and discussed the proposals requested from the WVCC COMMITTEE (DISCIPLINARY MEETING SEPT) which were accepted and adopted following assurances that these ruling would and could be adopted for any future occurrence where a suspended player plays in league/cup game.
They were then explained to the WVCC REPS who readily accepted the rulings.
Any player who plays whilst under a period of suspension will be banned from any match organised by this league. In the first instance this ban will be suspended for twelve months and will only become active if the player concerned fails to conduct him/herself in accordance with league rules or the overall spirit of cricket.
This judgement will be forwarded to the County for their support.
The player’s team will be deducted 50% of their current league points and will be removed from any cup competition.
The disciplinary was then concluded and the meeting proper commenced.
