Minutes of General Meeting 30th March 2021 online via Zoom

General Meeting of all clubs held online via Zoom on Tuesday 30th March 2021 at 7.30pm

1. WELCOME TO ATTENDEES: All clubs represented except for apologies listed below.
2. APOLOGIES: Nic Harvey, Worcester Police CC
3. FINANCIAL STATEMENT; Hon Treasurer confirmed that WIE had yet again sponsored the league to tune of £1,000. Bank balances Current account £2663.86 Deposit account £1,890.99
4. CONFIRMATION OF FIXTURES – Chairman confirmed fixtures had been changed to accommodate Arley’s decision to play at Alveley this season whilst Stagborough and Enville will find new date for their league match at Enville as Enville celebrating their 200^th anniversary that week (21^st July).
5. CLUB CONTACT DETAILS UPDATE – Clubs to send contact details asap so that they can be included in 2021 handbook; need to confirm two contacts per club.
6. HANDBOOKS 2021- intend to print before beginning of season and distribute with match report cards as best can. Chairman appealed for clubs to find potential advertisers for handbook.
7. WEBSITE UPDATE & PLAYCRICKET – Website is being updated for the new season and will function as per previous years. The linked playcricket site is also being updated with all the season’s fixtures.
8. GROUNDS FOR FINALS – All Senior and Junior finals are on 28^th July with at least one being played at KCC/Chester Road, other possible venues being Stourport, and Alveley. 10×10 finals being played on 18^th August at Quatt and KCC/Chester Road.
9. UMPIRES – Panel of some 16 umpires but with only 10-12 who would be available every week.
10. COVID-19 PROTOCOL & OTHER REMINDERS – as per ECB instructions which will be relayed to clubs as league receives them. Expected to be similar to last season including: changing rooms closed, hand sanitising, ball sanitised every 6 overs, restriction on attendees, keeping a list of who was present ( NB can use of QR code for registering presence, thank you AB – Quatt!)
11. PROPOSED DATE OF FIRST OPEN MEETING– Chairman confirmed this planned for 22^ndJune at Wilden. Alternative will be to resort to Zoom.
