( 10×10 CUPS).
A PLACEMENT OF THE OTHER TWO FINALS WILL BE SOUGHT
(POSSIBLY STOURPORT OR HIMLEY?).
A PAYMENT OF £35 PER FINAL WAS AGREED WITH CHESTER ROAD
( A MODEST INCREASE OF £5 PER MATCH ON 2015)
MARK WAS TWO THIRDS THE WAY THROUGH RE WRITING THE RULES TO INCLUDE THE CHANGES IN A COHERENT MANNER. THIS WORDING WAS AIRED AND ACCEPTED. CONCERN WAS EXPRESSED BY THE LATE REGISTRATION PAYMENTS OF CERTAIN CLUBS. WITH THIS IN MIND THE COMMITTEE WILL MOVE FOR THE RULE OF FINES IN SUCH MATTERS TO BE FURTHER EXPLAINED. THE COMMITTEE ALREADY HAS POWERS TO FINE LATE PAYERS AND SO A PENALTY OF £10 PER MONTH WILL BE ADDED TO THE TOTAL FOR THE LATE PAYERS SO AS NOT TO PENALISE THOSE PAYING ON TIME.

UMPIRE INSURANCE OF THE OVER 85’S WAS STILL BEING JUGGLED BY THE ECB.

THE FORMATION OF THE LEAGUE
THIS HAS BEEN A DILEMMA.
ALL TEAMS IN THE LEAGUE WERE CANVASSED FOR THEIR THOUGHTS.
ATTEMPTS WERE MADE TO RECRUIT MORE CLUBS FOR THE LEAGUE.
APPROXIMATELY 20 LOCAL CLUBS WERE APPROACHED, WITHOUT REWARD.
AND AS SUCH THE FOLLOWING COMPROMISE WAS AGREED MAKING THE BEST FROM THE SITUATUION AT HAND.
THE EXISTING THREE DIVISIONS WILL BE COMBINED INTO TWO DIVISIONS PLAYING EACH OTHER HOME AND AWAY ON WEDNESDAYS STARTING
WEDNESDAY 27th APRIL AND TERMINATING 24th AUGUST
WITH CUP GAMES BEING PLAYED ON A TUESDAY.
THE FIXTURES WERE AGREED AND AFTER “POLISHING”,
WILL BE PUBLISHED WITHIN ONE WEEK OF THIS MEETING.

STEVE SHEPHEARD WAS LOOKING FOR CRICKET COACHES TO JOIN HIS COACHING FRANCHISE BUSINESS WHICH WAS AIMED AT SCHOOL KEY STAGES ONE AND TWO. SUGGESTIONS FLOWED AND STEVE WAS POINTED TOWARDS WCCC.
WORCESTER WARRIORS ARE LOOKING FOR FRIENDLIES
HAMID SUGGESTED THAT WE HOLD A 6 OR 8 A SIDE COMPETITION WHICH COULD BE STAGED ON A SUNDAY AT CHESTER ROAD. THIS WOULD BE A FUND RAISER FOR THE LEAGUE.
