If the England Football team reach the Semi Final of the World Cup, the game will be played on Wednesday 11th July at 7.00 pm.
Your Committee have decided that, in the event of this occurring, we will enact rule 32 which allows for the League programme to be suspended where there is a “Clash of Interests”.
All clubs should discuss this with their players and then contact their opposition IN GOOD TIME to allow a re-arrangement of the fixture.
Rule 32 does not allow for the game to be cancelled so every effort should be made to play the game on another day.
We will allow games to be played AT ANY TIME BEFORE the last league game of the year (ie BEFORE 8th AUGUST).
Please inform the league of your intentions at the earliest opportunity, so that umpires can be appointed.
