The two KDCUA finals went off very well at Quatt CC on the evening of Wednesday 18th August with the sky a lighter shade of grey than those experienced at Chester Road for the Senior Cup Final the night before. The Quatt ground a picture with both pitches playing well.
In the KDCUA Cup BCH Gladiators bowled and fielded very well – in fact bowling only one wide in their ten overs to restrict Wyre Foresters to 65 runs. Up until the 7th over Foresters had done the same but then the dreaded wide goddess appeared and the game slipped away in the twinkle of three legside aberrations. Man of the Match was Al Roden of Wyre Foresters being the only batsmen to retire having scored 21 and bowling a decent over.
In the KDCUA Plate, Arley overcame Oldswinford with James Baker of Oldswinford being man of the match with two wickets in two balls in his over.
